Kick on BigWinMaxxing
Streamers can connect their Kick channel to their BigWinMaxxing profile, and turn on a command-based chat bot for their Bonus Hunt. This page explains what that reads and keeps.
Connecting a channel
The streamer approves the connection on kick.com. BigWinMaxxing asks Kick for the basic account and channel permissions only, and reads the Kick user ID, username, channel and live status.
Kick includes the account email in that answer. BigWinMaxxing discards it at once and never stores it. BigWinMaxxing never sees the Kick password.
A connected profile shows Kick connected, and LIVE ON KICK while the channel is live. It is not a verification of the person or the channel.
The chat bot
The bot is off until the streamer turns it on. Turning it on asks Kick for two more permissions: receiving chat events for that channel and sending chat messages.
While it is on, Kick sends each chat message of that channel to BigWinMaxxing. A message that is not one of the commands below is discarded as soon as it arrives. Chat messages, chat history and viewer usernames are never stored.
For a command, the viewer’s Kick user ID is used once to apply a short cooldown, turned into a one-way code with a key that changes every day. The code expires after 30 seconds and is deleted from our server within a few minutes. BigWinMaxxing keeps no viewer profiles and builds no statistics from viewers.

Hunt commands answer only while the streamer’s Stream Overlay is on, or after the streamer chose to share hunt figures in chat. The bot answers only while the channel is live, never posts on its own and never moderates. The bot’s replies are posted in your Kick chat by the BigWinMaxxing bot account, where they are public.
What is kept, and for how long
- Kick user ID, username and channel
- Until you disconnect, or until our daily check finds that access was removed on Kick. Username and channel are refreshed from Kick regularly.
- Permissions you granted and the access tokens Kick issued
- Until you disconnect. Tokens are encrypted with a key kept outside the database.
- Your bot settings (on or off, which commands)
- Until you disconnect.
- Whether your channel is live, and its stream title
- Replaced every few minutes. Treated as unknown after 10 minutes.
- Short-lived bot data: cooldown codes and message IDs
- Minutes, deleted automatically. Never included in backups.
- Database backups
- May still contain a copy of your Kick connection after you disconnect. Nightly backups are kept for 14 days and pre-update backups for 30 days. Tokens remain encrypted, and the backups are deleted automatically when their retention period ends.
Disconnecting
Disconnect at any time in your BigWinMaxxing Kick settings. BigWinMaxxing then stops the bot, asks Kick to revoke its tokens and deletes the connection straight away. A copy may remain in our database backups until those backups expire, as described above.
If you remove BigWinMaxxing from your Kick account instead, our daily check notices it and deletes the connection the same way, usually within a day. Deleting a BigWinMaxxing account deletes its Kick connection too.
